Someone needs to tell me that I am the reason I am losing ranked games.

Whenever I play i feel like the games that i lose are not my fault....well not entirely my fault. I play in silver 5 so i am obviously not that good, but i am better than what my rank says at least. I get the random afks or ragers just like everyone else. I also get the teammates that are just bad and make bad decisions. What I am asking is I want someone to watch me play, play with me, or look at my recent games and tell me that I am the sole reason we lost that game, that I did not perform well. Then I can work on or get help with the things that I do bad because I want to climb. You might think this is the generic post about being stuck because my team sucks. Well it is not I just want to improve. I would love input from high elo players. I like playing adc best. Any help is appreciated.

Hi!

It looks like you play roles I play and champions that I know. I'm not a high-tier player, but I'd be happy to offer an extra perspective. As a small aside, there will probably be no "sole reason we lost that game", but myriad things you could have done better or small opportunities that you might have missed.

I'll check back and talk more when I get home, feel free to add me

Be seeing you!

The trick to climbing in ranked is two things. To play lots of games, and to consistently play close to your best. There are a lot of matches that you will lose because of your teammates and a number that you will win because your team is simply better than the enemy team, but for the other matches in which it could go either way you need to try your best in spite of everything that's going on and you need to do some strategizing to make sure you come out on top. I'd recommend watching Foxdrop's videos. That's what I did to get from S4 to G5 last season.

I can't do what you're asking since I'm not actively playing anymore, so I couldn't call out your problems. But the reality is it is NEVER solely one person's fault - either victory or defeat - but all players are responsible for both victory and defeat. If you wish to improve, it's on you - not anyone else - to look at your performance honestly and change the way you approach the game.

Here's the advice I've given to people in the past: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/Xp3EhQMY-advice-for-enjoying-and-succeeding-at-ranked-play

You're 38/39 in Silver 5 this season. While this isn't an enormous sample size, I'm pretty confident in saying that you are in about the right place on the ladder - maybe +/- 1 division off at most. Step one here is accepting that you probably do a zillion things wrong every match and need to dramatically improve your own play to climb. (Lord knows I'm terrible, so don't take this as some sort of trash talk.)

It's possible that you're better at some things than the "average" S5 player and worse at others. Someone would really have to dig into your match histories or spectate you or watch replays to give you feedback like that. But if you took an average Plat player and dropped them into S5 they'd probably win 80-90% of their matches, so if you're not doing that over a reasonable number of matches then you have a lot of room for improvement.
