And in the middle of your ARAM, Comcast has a citywide outage for 5 hours. Not only did it ruin my plans of playing until 6am, but I woke up to this:

ISP's don't have city-wide or area-wide outages like that. it just doesn't happen.
What happens is their DNS gets DDOS'd (in other words, they are temporarily unable to route traffic properly). Fixing this is simple. Change yours to google's public DNS servers (they are somethings like 8.8.4.4 and 8.8.8.8). Just google how to change your primary and secondary DNS to those.
There are only a few things that could take out both of those bad boys at any given time. If any of those things actually happen, trust me, the internet will be the least of your worries.
