NA Platform Server is DOWN

Platform is down. Chat servers are still up, and game servers too, but the login/platform is not responding.

If you're stuck in champ select, you may as well log out.

Edit (17:50 PST): To reiterate: you will not get penalized by the LeaverBuster system because of the platform downtime. As far as an ETA on the platform being back up, it seems to have come up a short while ago, but is being flooded with login attempts so the login queue is rather large. I'd advise taking a break and watching streams or some other activity until the traffic settles down and we're all sure that the platform is stable.

Edit (18:14 PST): Yeah, I would strongly recommend doing something else. I sat in login queue with friends on 6 computers, and all got a non-responsive server error after 15+ minutes. It's better at this point to just let the servers even out and let the traffic die down. I'm off to Path of Exile!

Edit (22:10 PST): Yes, the servers are up and queues have died down. Rejoice!

Instead of worrying about servers and checking every minute to see if the server is back up we can be studying... Who am I kidding... We bitches are loyal to league. League is Life. #LIL

When trying to connect I get the receive the "Server not responding" or whatever. Is that what everone else is receiving?

First, after completing a game and trying to start a new one, it said I was still playing a game and I may need to restart the application to resolve it. After doing that, was forced into a 45 second login queue with the option to "Reconnect to game still in progress). Once you hit 1 in queue with 1 second remaining, it just stays there. I decided to hit "reconnect" and it attempted to load the game for about 10 seconds, then it kicked me to lobby. Friends was up but my client was all black, no other buttons available. I restarted the client and the first few attempts at reconnecting, it responded with the error "Did not receive a response from the server. Retrying (Attempt 1,2,3 etc.)"

Now it's saying the server is busy

Every time I try to come back to LoL I am immediately redirected back to DotA due to Riot's shitty servers. item 3070

You know,the servers being down is much better than having to deal with connections issues during a game. No worry about being reported,no leaverbuster on my ass,no worrying about my screen freezing during a teamfight.

hilarius i submitted a ticket with these issues soon as it started happneing after the recent patch and they claimed its my net like i can access my browser with no prtblem it was obviously on riots end yet i kept being redirected every time i replyed to jsut saying it must be on my end thankfully somebody finally got wise and they are putting a fix to this though the damage has been done i have lost a lot of respect for riot and their piss poor customer service its time to check out dota 2 as everybody always claims its better anyways aha

Doesn't make any sense, you know how many 4v5's I've had to play in ranked and it always ends up counting as a loss and I lose lp. This happens, I happen to be on the team that doesn't lose a player. We win a 4v5 and it doesn't count as a win for me, nor do i receive any lp. League has such a broken unfair system.

It's been down most of the day. Best go play or download dota 2. This game is crap and so is Riot.

Lol. I just got in again, and it didn't let me launch, so I typed thereisnourflevel, and then it allowed me. Sadly, I could only play custom and teambuilder. Except when I finally found a custom game, it got stuck on the last second...
