Oddly enough.. and this is like.. head canon, I almost see Pantheon as somehow representative of the non-celestial worshiping folk of Mt. Targon as a whole or at least a tribe of a greater population of humans that don't do the moon/sun thing. Heck, I'd like to see him solidified into something that puts him on a bit higher level. Maybe representing the "people" of Targon, not the lofty sun, the sullen moon, or any other heavens-worshiping.

Random spontaneous idea. Mars themed champ could be a giant, and Pantheon could be the David for David and the Goliath. It would further emphasize the intention of Pantheon being more "down to earth" (hehe) and not to mention bring an equally intimidating champion as Panth without stepping on his toes too much.

Because that doesn't make any sense, Leona is the sun because in her lore she was part of a sun tribe. Diana is the moon because in her lore she worships the moon. pantheon has no relation to mars.

Well he is Spartan-like despite the lore information in which Spartans are known to revere Ares/Mars as their "Patron" God. It's possible an Ultimate skin for Pantheon is possible?
