Oddly enough.. and this is like.. head canon, I almost see Pantheon as somehow representative of the non-celestial worshiping folk of Mt. Targon as a whole or at least a tribe of a greater population of humans that don't do the moon/sun thing. Heck, I'd like to see him solidified into something that puts him on a bit higher level. Maybe representing the "people" of Targon, not the lofty sun, the sullen moon, or any other heavens-worshiping.

It would make sense, he's clearly Spartan-themed, and Spartans worshipped Ares (Mars) as the God of War.
I'd like to see another Mt. Targon champion, their lore is awesome and Diana and Pantheon are two of my favorite champions in the game.
