What should we do?

Well , i am in ranked champ select and notice we have a troll on the team. many of his games are 1/15/1 about. so i dodge. and guess what? he trolled. he went 1/17/2 . So what do i do ? Feels like i can do nothing....

So i get a 28 minute ban and lose points for refusing to risk losing more points and risk being unable to carry a troll ( especially since i am almost never the person to carry) .

Lastly notice how he has trolled like at least a week ago and STILL is able to play rank? it really makes reporting seem useless. Sure , lets say it took a long time because riot is flooded by reports and doesnt have enough people to deal with it. but that still is a problem since he can make another account when he FINALLY gets punished and play it until his other account is unbanned. and repeat and repeat.

There are so many idea's given by the community to stop trolling in RANKED. Yet riot does almost nothing new to solve it. ( woopy u dont get a free skin. my free skin sucked ass )

idk why they think this mystery skin shit is a good idea it just makes the toxic people feel worse id know since the insanity in ranked is otherworldly

Did you report him after the game? If not, than congratualations, you just validated his trolling and helped him get away with it for another game.

As far as making a new account... yeah, he could, but they're a pain to level up, and he loses access to whatever champions/skins/runes he'd already unlocked.

You do know there's no need to beg for reports, right? All you're doing is letting a troll know they succeeded in getting under your skin. Number of reports don't actually matter (protection for solo players against premades). It just matters that someone reported him.
