Insta ban Afk, leavers and trolls. problem solved.

I've lost half of my ranked games because of these people. I don't believe that they're being punished to the extant that they need to be.

I can almost guarantee this game would have less trolls and leavers if they knew they would be insta banned via the tribunal. even if it was for only a week, just give us a brake will you. I'd be a lot less inclined to get pissed at riot about the lp losses from those games if I knew I had one less troll to worry about that week.

It's not like you would lose that much money from banning them. you'll lose more money from players who are so tired of this BS that they just decide not to play anymore. I'm pretty close to that point myself.

Upvote if you agree please.

When you magically come up with a way to determine who got accidentally DC'd, who got kicked off PvP.net, etc from the people who actually left on purpose, please Riot know, I'm sure they'd love that info.

Until then, not much to be done.

it's called the tribunal. if they're reading the reports like they're supposed to then they'll have a pretty accurate clue as to why someone was reported for afk.

That doesn't fix the problem.

Either you're one of them, or you've noticed that every idiot in a game almost instantly assumes if someone DCs they did it on purpose. Frequently I'll have a teammate dc and as soon as the message pops up the "WOW REPORT _______ FOR AFK" message appears in all-chat. In some cases yeah it's obvious, like when they say "wow fuck you guys I'm afk", but that's like, what, 30% of the cases at most? And those DO get looked at and warned (or banned in repeat cases).

So they can't just check the tribunal, and they have leaverbuster specifically for people who repeatedly leave games.

So we're back at square one, where you need to come up with a way to determine with 100% accuracy who left on purpose or who got disconnected. Once you do that, go make bank at Riot because they'd love to have that knowledge.

what if someone dis connects then they get banned because they had the best intentions i feel as if thats clue to the kid with the bad connection or someone who had their computer crash but i agree that thare should be a sharper penalty for consistent afk or trolling i see many people get away with it however instabann is just to outrageous of a answer

Inb4 your internet goes down briefly from a power outage and you get permabanned then come on the forum to cry.
