RIOT punishment system work omg

Hello dear Summoners,

I just finished playing a game on my second account in which all of us had to put up with a very negative player to say the least.

After only 3 minutes in the game this specific player who we'll call John Doe for privacy reasons felt the need to flame the bot lane for trading kills.

Throughout the entirety of the game John Doe felt the need to comment on every play made in a negative way.

Whilst that in itself is for me a reason to reward someone with a report at the end of the game our John Doe felt that it wasn't enough

Mothers should die, families should suffer from a wide variety of diseases and most of us were going to get brutally raped and physically abused according to John Doe.

After the game was over Me and several others used the feared report function in the hope that John Doe would receive his punishment.

A few minutes later whilst in queue for my next ranked game me and my friend got a popup notification telling us that a player had been punished by the tribunal.

John Doe, you will not be missed.
