Bring back seeing other's ping...

So you know when people are always complaining that they are lagging in game, but sometimes they are not they are just making bad mistakes and feeding. We should be able to see someones ping in the loading screen again so that people can't talk shit to people who are actually lagging. Everyone would be able to see it.

Ping spikes can happen DURING the game, just because your ping is okay at the loading screen doesn't mean you won't get a massive 1k ping spike during the game

riot should for sure bring this back, this is a great idea!

I have an average of 40 ping but for whatever reason i get massive spikes every 5-10 seconds that make it impossible to play the game (even happens in solo custom games). Support has been useless to fix this btw which sucks i havent been able to play for 3 months. My point is that seeing ping in the loading screen wont really help with this. Besides the people who dont believe someone is actually lagging are just going to rage at them for playing with high ping in the first place.

Sure so you can attack your own teammates because that's what riot wants you to do right?

"Hey guys, Talon must be an East coaster, he has 112 ping! Free win." "Dude why'd you pick Cassiopeia if you have 100+ ping? [All] Report Cass please."

Or this could be one of the long list of things Rito can put in as toggle options. I do like to see if people are actually "lagged" out or making excuses.

Maybe instead of making both teams see it, we just let our team see only for our team it would also help in team fights because you can see the ping spike and be like nope right now is not a good time our adc just shot up to 300 ping lets back off for a few min guys. i never said both teams should see it but it would really help if our team could.

One of the main problems with seeing others peoples ping is that if you, yourself have bad ping.. it will show everyone on your team has bad ping, when in fact its your problem

Its not accurate

I just miss being able to poke fun at my friend who normally had like 140 ping (on the east coast by the way). It also helps knowing if my lane opponent has like 14 ping to my 108 ping on the east coast.

It gets rid of people spamming to ban someone because their ping is 300+... I say leave it. AFKs and bad connections will happen regardless

TenSlashTen10/11/2014, 3:19:12 AM1 votes

Its NA server. Everyone has shit connection. Only reliable server is CN/KR because they don't like foriengers in(you have to go through multiple hoops to play if you want to play there...basically) If we had that and barred our stuff to only NA we'd have no lag since no extra stress. Instead we still have millions of extra baggage slugging the server along after 5+ years the servers cant handle it. Riots not upgrading. People aren't leaving.

NA suffers.

If they did that, they'd leave when they saw me loading. 400 ping op.
