Ok, a legit question here, why is it that some champions have like 8 skins while others (mostly older champs) only have 1-2? I mean, honestly, why does Sona need another skin when she has like 6 skins, one of them being an Ultimate, while champs like Rek'Sai only have 1? Can anyone legitimately answer this? Rito pls

Outside of champion popularity, some champions are just hard to make skins for due to the nature of their design. One example is Kha'Zix. His ultimate causes him to undergo multiple model changes and that means more work is required to make a skin for him. Therefore it's harder to make a reasonably priced skin for him.

Most of the oldest champions actually have a boatload of skins. Relative to other champions, Rek'Sai is very new (she's existed for about a quarter of the time that League has existed) and has two skins (pool party and eternum.)

For Yorick specifically... years ago, Riot discovered that everyone hated playing against him. They even took him our of the free champion rotation, I think. Now that he's gotten reworked, he should be up for more skins.

RP is how Riot makes money. So if they release a new Sona skin for 3250 RP and 10 million people buy it, it makes them a lot more money than if they make a new Urgot skin and 10 thousand people buy it.

Because some champion's will sell many more skins than other ones do.
