So I finished top of silver 4 last season' had decent enough mmr I think. (got 20-30 lp per game on average)

Started doing my placements this week and thought to myself if I do decent I should end up around silver 5-4. I go 9-1 in my placements and get put in bronze 2!!

How does this make sense?

Don't really care that much as bronze is easy to get out of anyway but thought it seems a little flawed...

Thats actually a very normal drop. Its on par with what a lot of experience last year when the reset wasn't so hard. This season was a MUCH harder reset than any of the other seasons.
