How to get icons!

I don't know if this is a great idea, but wouldn't it be cool to know exactly HOW you got the icon rather than just searching old posts from season 3 Halloween event? It would be great to have a brief description on the icon instead of

"A Summoner Icon is a picture that represents you in chat rooms an on your Friend List. You can choose from these starter icons, and later you can unlock special icons to represent the achievements you have accomplished in League of Legends. You can change your Summoner Icon at any time by clicking on the icon at the top of the screen."

That message should be displayed before you click on any icons! Then after you click say the Gangplank icon or the new good behavior icon, tell us how we got the icon!
