Do any of you play Heroes of Newerth? I'm having a REALLY hard time getting into it. To me it just seems way too complicated and cluttered with bad controls. And all I've done is local bot games...I haven't even hit the matchmaking which apparently makes LOL queues seem friendly and reasonable...
So I guess the question is if any of you play both of these games, do you eventually get used to it? or just go screaming back to league?

Swampmajikk1 votesdon't you have to pay for DOTA2? What got me interested in HoN was the heroes. They're kinda cool except blatantly imbalanced. Basically everyone will get their ass handed to them by Andromeda or Defiler.. Crowd control is broken out the ass and the amount of activated items is way too confusing.. I dunno I've played it a bit more and its growing on me a little...but you can tell the game has been all but abandoned...

Swell Fellow1 votesWhy not just try Dota 2? HoN was pretty much a recreation of the original Defenders of the Ancients mod, and ever since Dota 2's beta was released it's popularity has drastically decreased. Even at this point the developers have went on to create a new moba; Strife.
