Can we please have an option to gift keys

I myself, and a lot of my friends, struggle with finding keys, which of course is understandable because Riot is at least giving us chances. But my friends play a lot with no luck, and I just feel awful and want to gift a key to compensate, because I'm a pretty awful person myself, at a bad player at that. I just want to make it up to them but also help because they want a key so badly. But that's not it. We can gift just about anything in League of Legends, except keys and chests, which is strange because if we want we have the option to give, with RP that we specifically receive/buy. @Riot please allow the use of this so I can help my friend before the the 3rd.
