my brother hasnt been playing as long as i have and he's gotten 2 pentas while i still havent gotten any.

granted he mains Jinx while i main supp and jungle, in which case its probably damn rare or even a sin if i get a penta, but even still. sad panda.

his first penta was this match here actually.

we actually joked about it in the post game lobby. he called it "new meta" but really it was just him building all wardens to counter our AA adc champs. was still funny though.

2 team mates never connected and 1 dc'ed before first minion wave clash. somehow Riot autonomously detected the unfair match and gave a "loss prevention" which essentially nullifies the match and denies a drop in MMR.

in ranked games it stops LP drops too.

that's exactly the case. in the match that i posted above, not only was it a normals match, but 3 team mates had 0 impact on the game, with 2 never even connecting.

with most of the ranked games that get whined about on the boards it's generally only about 1 DC that in many cases wasnt even gone the entire game or a variation of 2 DC (extremely rare) or a Dc and a subsequent AFK due to a pessimist calling gg out the gate due to the 4v5.

most people want a loss prevent in this case where they're generally only sporadically if not entirely just a single man down the entire game instead of cases like mine that was a genuine 2v5 for 99% of the match. as 1 managed to buy starter items but never even made it to lane.

2 team mates never connected and 1 dc'ed before the 1m mark i think. we thought for sure we were gonna lose by the 15 minute mark and just have a terrible game. in all honesty though it actually turned out to be one of the funnest matches i've ever played. all 5 of the enemy team honored us at the end of the game and during the game we were just joking in all chat and praising good moves that anybody made.

pretty much all of the congratulated my brother on his penta, even though we got it while chasing them off the nexus towers and set the game back by like 8 minutes.
