Question - How to not rage??

Hey everyone,

I really want to learn how to stop raging. In the past, I've gotten a 2-week ban (didn't receive a warning, email, or any previous ban so that came out of the blue), a 22-game chat restriction, and recently, a 17-game chat restriction.

I'm concerned that my account may soon be permanently banned if this continues, and I think I've narrowed my problems down to the following:

  1. Complaining about teammates (feeders, trolls, afks, etc..)
  2. Complaining about legitimate lag (/all THIS FRIGGIN LAG)
  3. Excuses for death (/all what a tryhard)
  4. Trying to encourage team but tone comes off as sounding harsh/harassmental (guys we need to work together stop roaming and group)

As I don't want my account to be banned, I want to change how I'm playing/seeing the game and to improve my behavior. After my 22-game chat restriction, I limited myself to how many games I would play per week(end), and I thought that I had improved my behavior by simply turning off allchat in some cases, and just ignoring the problems in other cases. However, I apparently did something bad enough within the few weeks I was OFF chat-restrictions to get back onto restrictions. I don't know what this specifically could have been (I actually wish that the system would tell me what exactly I had been saying verbatim so that I could steer clear of that specific behavior in the future). I ask that you help me to improve my behavior in response to these 4 instances in which I would usually perform bannable offenses.

Thank you in advance, TryhardCentral

Turn off all chat. Stop being a toxic dick to your teammates, and instead just don't talk. #4 nobody will report you for if you don't do #1,2,3.

sometimes it's delayed, so what you've been doing might have been working.

If you don't have the self-control necessary to not be a complete asshole to your teammates, you should consult a physician and possibly try some mood-altering medications.

no, what I meant was that the restriction might have been late. it happens. often people get punished more than once if they the offence and so the second on is a bit more delayed than the first. as long as you aren't toxic anymore, after serving all the punishments (might be another after this one even), you should be fine.
