That sounds counter-productive - run out a chat restriction by doing something that can earn you a perma-ban. It's a bit like cutting off your nose to spite your face - in the end, the only person that's hurt by it is you.

I've asked this a lot, but have yet to receive a decent answer: Considering Riot's stance - that retaliation is never okay - what difference would context make?

O well I guess I never actually did 1v1 Yasuo as Morgana / Sona / Lulu Supports will be 0-11, but you forgot to put in assists, 0-11-25

Why do some people not understand that you can play to have fun, and still try to win?

Goal: having fun.

Means to that: Many, winning being one of them.

The reason to play to have fun, and not to win, is because nobody wins all the time, and lots of people who play this game are bad at it.

If your enjoyment of the game is on the condition that you win, and all your teammates do just as good as you expect, you're going to be disappointed and mad 50% of the time. No matter what rank you are.

Calm down, play to have fun. There's always the next game.
