I see Olaf is probably the "WORSTS" Champion in league of legends right now. This is my casual account and i never spent any riot points on it. But i spent ip on olaf to give him a go.
MAN does he suck badly. He needs offense and defense to even be remotely compatible and he gets kited for days.
Riot if you read this - do you have any changes to help olaf ?
The problem is with champs like olaf, shen, old xerath, etc... is that when they are strong, they are super toxic champs. The old olaf could literally 1v5 a team and you couldn't do anything about it. Riot has to be careful about buffs to these types of champs so they don't go out of control again (look up Voyboy clip if you need example). Hope this helps :)
He's still a fantastic duelist, one of the best IMO. Olaf's issue is a lack of mobility, no movement speed buffs or gap closers. I still play him and can dominate my lane with him in most match ups, his kit offers him a great deal of flexibility in terms of how you want to play the lane.
