Understanding Why I Am The One Being Restricted/Banned

A lot of the time i usually have picture proof of things I argue but unfortunately I just don't expect these restrictions. Too start off I am banned for 14 days, not too salty abt it or anything, but for some reason the people who start any sort of argument do not get banned. People can say, "oh you can just ignore them" well, they can just ignore me too but they do not and decide to all chat, "report insert name because toxic" and BAM i am banned. Makes no sense to me when i try to keep an argument between the two people but apparently I am so nice its toxic. I literally just want to defend myself but i also take responsibility if i walk somewhere without wards. I just want to learn why it is always me, the non-allchater that always seems to be banned. I think it may also have to do with low elo so people are quicker to report.... idk tho.

How do you people not understand that you're only making the problem worse when you talk back? It doesn't matter who started it, everyone involved is always wrong.

So you cant try to fix things with a person being rude first? You cant actually have a debate with facts? Well, the second one never happens cause when u start pulling out facts that is an instareport. But anyway, finding the answer should be a priority but of course I am wrong cause i try to fix things. With your point of view, there should basically be no chat cause people will always disagree

There is no debating with a troll. It's called an argument. Be the better person and ignore them. They want you to talk back so they can justify reporting you and feel good about themselves. Deny them that.

I mean, i dont want to report people though. I think people should fix the problems and if i just ignore them then nothing gets solved. And people who rush to ignore tend to be the allchaters imo

You can't convince anonymous strangers that easily. Your chances of making a raging kid on the internet see reason is extremely unlikely, while the chances of you just annoying the rest of the people around is almost guaranteed. Most of them respond to punishment far better, which is why you ignore and report them. If you can't get through to them in less than 5 sentences, do not keep going because it's not going to be worth it.

I also don't know how you're talking to them; if you could in any way be interpreted as toxic by a third party, then even a single reply is too much.

I get what you're saying, but there has to be some sort of greater punishment for the one who started it all. Most of the times the troll or provoker will be the one walking free while the person who wanted to defend himself ends up getting banned. Sure, they are both technically in the wrong (although I personally believe defending ones self no matter the circumstances should be allowed) Riot needs to understand the victim vs the aggressor, even if they both are arguing.

Simply put, if you argue back with an aggressor or try to defend yourself, it only makes the matters worse. Not only for yourself, but for your team because they have to read it and in Riots eyes you're instigating a fight or argument that is disrupting gameplay and is considered harassment.

I'm sure people have already said it a million times, but it's true: Simply mute or ignore them and report them after the game.

Like i have been saying, if you can solve the problem where everyone apologizes and takes responsibility it really does help the team. However, of course when you try debating you get reported which i think makes no sense. Riot says "Teamwork OP" but without chat how can one try to organize something. I am also in silver 1-2ish so simple pings dont really get much of a message across

i would not mind at all; however, i do not remember the email for this account. But if i do come across it i would be glad to share. Also it only shows your own chat so i mean... that wouldnt be a good representation anyway. or i have the right email and it hasnt come through yet

But why cant you just ignore them? if you are being toxic back that them that doesn't make you in the right, and it only give the people looking that the reports for evidence that its on you. Also people need to actually be reported. If people are only reporting you, and not the other person that other person isnt going to get any punishment because the reports are on you. its not like they look at the reports and see everyones chat, they just look at yours because you were reported. Its a bad system, but its what we have to work with. For the time being just dont retaliate. its not that hard. mute, and report any signs of toxic issues and more often than not theyll get ban!

Id rather try to eventually get it worked out because communitcation does win games. Like pings can me many things. Text doesnt. And i think reporting is dumb in the first place, i believe people should be able to solve their own problems instead of asking for others to have sympathy for them. It is between 2 people and it should stay that way.

No, it isn't. This is the entire problem we're trying to explain to you. It's not just between 2 people because there are a bunch of other players caught in the middle. If nobody else had to have your argument in their chat, that's a different story and you are right, but that's not the case in LoL.

Just ignore everyone at the start of the game, and tell people to communicate with you through pings. There problem solved.

i dont think people want to debate when they are trying to play a game, especially with modes like Rank. they want to play the game and keep chat to a minimal usually for MIA/buff spawns, etc. when you try to argue in-game you disrupt between 4-9 other players (assuming it might be on all-chat) people dont want to read paragraphs of words when the main point of playing the game is to play the game!
