Understanding Why I Am The One Being Restricted/Banned

A lot of the time i usually have picture proof of things I argue but unfortunately I just don't expect these restrictions. Too start off I am banned for 14 days, not too salty abt it or anything, but for some reason the people who start any sort of argument do not get banned. People can say, "oh you can just ignore them" well, they can just ignore me too but they do not and decide to all chat, "report insert name because toxic" and BAM i am banned. Makes no sense to me when i try to keep an argument between the two people but apparently I am so nice its toxic. I literally just want to defend myself but i also take responsibility if i walk somewhere without wards. I just want to learn why it is always me, the non-allchater that always seems to be banned. I think it may also have to do with low elo so people are quicker to report.... idk tho.

How do you people not understand that you're only making the problem worse when you talk back? It doesn't matter who started it, everyone involved is always wrong.

Simply put, if you argue back with an aggressor or try to defend yourself, it only makes the matters worse. Not only for yourself, but for your team because they have to read it and in Riots eyes you're instigating a fight or argument that is disrupting gameplay and is considered harassment.

I'm sure people have already said it a million times, but it's true: Simply mute or ignore them and report them after the game.

But why cant you just ignore them? if you are being toxic back that them that doesn't make you in the right, and it only give the people looking that the reports for evidence that its on you. Also people need to actually be reported. If people are only reporting you, and not the other person that other person isnt going to get any punishment because the reports are on you. its not like they look at the reports and see everyones chat, they just look at yours because you were reported. Its a bad system, but its what we have to work with. For the time being just dont retaliate. its not that hard. mute, and report any signs of toxic issues and more often than not theyll get ban!

Just ignore everyone at the start of the game, and tell people to communicate with you through pings. There problem solved.

i dont think people want to debate when they are trying to play a game, especially with modes like Rank. they want to play the game and keep chat to a minimal usually for MIA/buff spawns, etc. when you try to argue in-game you disrupt between 4-9 other players (assuming it might be on all-chat) people dont want to read paragraphs of words when the main point of playing the game is to play the game!
