Seriously Riot: Placement Games Mean Nothing

i tried so hard to get a good division after placement games and went 7-3 and you put me in bronze 5. If u just got your 30 last season and struggled and now are much better its unfair to force somebody to get put in the worst division if they are better than that. Im tired of these terrible teams I get so i tried my best and this is what i get. I think you need to re-think your system so people get put where they deserve cause your current system screws over people who have worked hard to improve their game. Please just think about the new people from last season cause we are being shafted by this.

I personally dont care where im placed, all i know that im play well where im placed and worry more about teamwork v. Elo place. If im placed in BV then im BV but i will play like a gold player. Its all about teamwork and gameplay. Rage less and Play More!

The reset was supposed to decrease your rank. It makes a goal to reach for this season. There is no point having a new season if you start from the exact same place you were before.

When you duoqueue with gold players it evens the MMR between the teams, you aren't actually playing with golds just because your friend is gold, typically you would play with medium-high silver players.

You claim that you don't belong in Bronze, but words mean nothing if you can't prove it. the system rewards consistent good play, so play well often, you will advance, play a few games well every once in a while, you go nowhere.

Season 2 I was placed immediately into Silver elo (~1280) I then dropped down because I couldn't continue playing to that level of skill. You are where you belong, just like everyone else besides smurf accounts, which also throw off the entire system just like you are doing.

If you're as good as you say you are, what division you get placed in has little importance as you should carry and climb out of it.

maybe if you were not bad you would not be in bronze 5. looking at your item choices they are all pretty bronzie. i think you would do us a favor not playing ranked and then posting comments about it

I win 5/10 of my placement games, have a mmr of about 1460, and then get moved from silver 1 to silver 5! That's utter bullshit. I am not going through the whole "escape silver hell" process again. They need to fix this stupid system!

No mlgHalo is correct, this is bogus. I went 7-3 in prov matches got silver 3, i mean wtf! i was silver 1 last season, and the only reason i coudln't get gold 5 was cause of shitty teams that i was being placed in. Season 2 was the best for rank, cause not that many trolls existed. Bronze and silver is full of ragers, trolls, and silver is extremely consisted of noobs that belong in bronze. I play at a gold 2-3 level, no fucking silver... My match history and KDA proves it, get your shit together riot cause your game is failing to please those who work hard to climb the rank ladder, and you fuck them over by placing them in shitty teams.

Play consistently well and you will advance. Been playing since season 1 and was bronze/silver in seasons 1 and 2. Got placed into silver 3 for season 3 and climbed my way to plat 3 through hard work and practice.

Honestly MigHalo. I got placed in bronze v beginning of s3 and i carried all the way to silver 1. By improving my play. If I got bronze v tomorrow morning (btw i got demoted from silver 1 to bronze 1 right), im sure i would carry pretty much every game easily. If you are over bronze v level, you should be able to carry most games and move up quickly. If you cant then that is purely because u belong there. :-(

Your MMR is 800, you belong in Bronze. Furthermore, because of the soft reset you are matched against people near and below your MMR from season 3 and pre-season, which means you are supposed to win seven or eight out of the ten to prove you belong where you were even at.

Ive been in 6 promo games trying to advance to b3 and havent won a single promo game. every time I get afk's and or teams that sit there and bitch back and forth. my k/d ratio stays consistant. the only thing Ive noticed is I get back there quicker. because my lp is much higher. but in 6 promo games I have yet to win a single one. then in reg games I get teams that I destroy. Had the same issue last season as well.

This has nothing to do with topic but League of Legends gets boring after a while, then Yasuo came and I loved him. Now hes been goon for almost 12 hours. Get well soon Yasuo :)

I went 6-4 in my games and went into Silver 4. Most likely cause of solo Q and carrying most of my games even as support

I have not done any placement games yet and have more of a question. Are not placement games pretty much luck of the draw like normal games? if you get on bad teams that lose, even if you do well in game, won't that hurt your ranking?
