Sad true league story, lost a friend

Hi. I had a friend I had been playing and skyping with almost all day every day. One game we were playing aram and this person on my team was really rude to me and it upset me very much. I raged really hardcore, broke my mouse, and I couldn't play after that. The person continued to be rude to me. But this incident has now led to me losing my friend. They left my ranked team and unfriended me on league, so I went ahead and unfriended them on skype. They were only on when we were skyping, but I know I ruined my friendship from my raging and I feel really bad about it. One moral of this story is that people really need to stop being rude and toxic. I.e. I said in the team chat that I broke my mouse because I was so mad at them and they said "good", what kind of response is that? I said or did absolutely nothing at all wrong to this person and they just decided to be rude to me this game. The other moral is that I'm starting to just try to mute people like this and move on. Nothing good can come out of letting anyone make me mad. Unfortunately for me, I let this person win. Their goal was to make my life worse and not let me have fun and they accomplished just that. So everyone please be nice on league and online and in life in general and lets all just mute and ignore the rude people and the haters.

You broke your mouse because of a couple of words? You need to calm down, you're out of control, and you're only hurting yourself.

it was more than a couple of words, it was a lot of words, and your comment doesn't help anything, at all, this individual made me really mad, they were super rude to me, and I'm not hurting myself, but what I am doing is just stressing that it's best to just mute people like this, I've been told to kill myself and all kinds of stuff on league, and literally there's nothing that can ever come good out of even talking to those types of people

Well you're doing the right thing. There are a lot of assholes here on league, and muting them before their toxicity gets to you is really all you can do. Well that, and report them after the game of course.
