How do I deal with teammates who give up at winning.

So I've been starting to play ranked more recently now so naturally, I'm in the bronze/silver Elo. The players I pair up with however always choose to give up so easily. For one they are always toxic. Whether someone is putting me down or putting another player down I see it going on in every game. I always try to resolve the conflict by saying things like "Don't argue guys. We can win if we work together", "Arguing won't help (champ) play any better", or "Woah there (champ that is flaming) you're being kinda hostile. let's try to work together so we can win this :D" but 9/10 times it won't work.

Along with that matter, my team is always filled with people who give up. They don't understand the fact that we're in bronze/silver Elo, and there are throws. They think that just because top lane fed, or "bot lane is useless" we will lose. 1st of all, nobody is useless unless they're AFK. 2nd if we just help them farm up and get some kills maybe tey won't be "useless". And if one lane fed it's not the end of the world. Just help that lane out. work together to kill the fed opponent. And then they just start to spam the chat with, stuff like "oh its gg" "we can't win" "just surrender". I try to motivate my team but it just doesn't work. It's almost as if they don't want to win.

I'm not mad that people do bad or make mistakes. And I'm not saying I'm amazing at this game. I just hate the mindset of these people who think that 1)flaming will make the ally better, and help win the game and 2) that giving up will raise their Elo. Thank you to anyone that puts in the time to give me suggestions.

Also any suggestions you would give to a new player starting rank would be appreciative. Thanks :D
