There's a lot of champions.. almost 250... Sorta scares me because what if there just becomes too much? o-o Some champions are just becoming forgotten in the pile... what if riot decided they don't make enough money from that champion so they just...

I don't think they ever would but what if riot started getting rid of champions like they do with items and Summoner spells?

Idk man, but the thought of losing some of those guys would really be a heart breaker

This thought is pretty unfounded. Yes, there are a lot of champions, and at any given time, there will always be unpopular champs or ones that are moderately to severely undertuned, or just overshadowed by other champs that do simila things. But it's a bit nonsensical to think that Riot would delete content they've already created in order simply because it wasn't making much money anymore.

It's not like a supermarket, where they have to actually keep stock up of a certain item. In this case, if they aren't selling enough of that item to make up for the costs of stocking it, then yeah, it makes sense to no longer carry that item. But in a digital world like this, the cost for a champion is completely up-front during its creation. Once it's made, it's out there and costing Riot nothing to leave in the champion roster.

Even in the past, there have been champions that were particularly problematic (thinking largely of Eve here). They didn't delete her just because she was hard to balance before her rework. Instead, they basically gutted her to becoming almost completely non-viable for play, but left her around. Eventually they got around to doing her rework, and brought her back into viability.

250?????????????? Last time i checked we haven't even passed 150 yet....
