AFK in ranked

if you have afks in ranked why make it only able to surrender early, I have lost 3 of the past 7 games purely due to afks and been demoted. If the early surrender option detected that we have an afk or afks why does it still take away LP. I find this ridiculous. Especially that is has to happen in ranked and ruin my progress. This is completely demoralizing. Who wants to play a game where your hardwork can be ruined in a matter of a few games and bad luck, even If i played well its very hard to win a 4v5. There should be an afk surrender button where if the team has 1 or more afks for the first 15 mins for at least 7 mins then it shouldn't take away lp. Its just the principle of the whole thing is a mess. I understand that you shouldn't just be able to surrender and not lose Lp but there has to be some sort of safe guard against afks. This makes me never want to play ranked again, let alone league.
