honor levels?

I have been level 1 honor for about a week now and i haven't been toxic in any games since, as a matter of fact I get a lot of honor (in my opinion). By all means I am not mad or salty that I am level one, I have accepted it and put effort forth to purify my toxicity, It only took 1 game to demote my honor level and honestly I dont think I deserved the demotion but it is what it is. This is really demotivating to see that my gameplay isnt rewarded at all, especially since I have been under level 3 for a long time now. What gives?

Honor level takes a looong time to build. You're supposed to build honor over the course of a full season, so give it a month or so.

It's meant to be a season-long progression.

You aren't going to climb that quickly.

under level 3? what makes u think ur the only one under level 3 just search around or glance at the first page and see the threads that say no one is at level 3 yet. someone claimed we won't get there any time soon, either, but wasn't kind enough to link the riot source

I think its ridiculous that if i lose my cool one time because someone lost me my ranked game by inting (obviously on purpose) that I lose my rewrads for a month and they dont even get punished. the new honor system is bull. If i stay level 1 for a long time I will hasve no motivation to be nice, I dont play the game for rewards I play for fun, getting key fragments is just a little extra.

It's a season long progression. No one is going to climb level in a matter of games/days. It takes weeks to months to climb, so since you are at level 1 it will be awhile before you return to level 2.
