Logic and Communication: The struggle to use them properly
This is pretty thorough and detailed, so if you don't want to read it all, don't post a response.
I'm fairly new to the game, mid season 3. I didn't try to rank until about half way last season and got to silver fairly easy, got to bronze 1, and silver 3 from there. I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination. But I'm becoming really frustrated. I got placed in bronze 1 again, but that's where the madness begins. I take responsibility for doing bad, and I'm honest enough to admit it in a game. Like my first 3 losses were because 1 game, picked a lane not comfortable with, 2nd game, picked a champ i don't normally play in a lane I'm proficient in, support. And the 3rd loss i played just terrible like 1/11/3 as a support. I won 2 after those 3 losses, because of the other team surrendering.(getting back to that in a moment) and then lost the next 5. I mainly play Sona and Braum. obviously judging where i stand my stats aren't amazing, but i feel people communicate in the wrong ways.
Scenario 1: the team that surrenders, and then gets verbally abused by the winning team.
In the surrender games, not that i thinking surrendering is ever a good thing, but when you get crushed hard you want to give up i suppose. some even say "you really outplayed us" or the usual gg,ggwp at the results screen. Then my /a team goes off, "you f'ing suc,k you guys suck and fed so much. " Like it hasn't happened to you? You haven't had a few games where you've fed or didn't lane properly? Yet people sit around and insult people for it? Why? Does it feel good to be a bully?
Scenario 2: The losing team in battle comms: I'll take a game i played last night. I was Braum. In the game before that i went 4/8/31, so I feel like i did my job pretty well. I'm supporting a Kalista, about 4 mins she has bout 26-27 farm, which for bronze seems exceptional, but noticed she wasn't poking at all, and i kept getting poked after throwing my q, by the support. "Why aren't you stunning them?" I asked. "Well I'm farming, you stun them" Obviously this player has no idea what Braum's passive is so I explain it. acknowledged by a"kk" I continue to get poked at and killed 2x in the 1st 10 mins. Of course support gets blamed for when they die, or their adc dies. I died because there was NO pressure being put on by Kalista to make them respect the stun, because it never happened once. Now I am way behind its mid-game were down 3 towers to 1, and 5 kills to their 11. Now I get blamed by my team for not supporting, and in their exact words from Kalista who doesn't know anything about Braum says this: YOU'RE bRAUM. YOU'RE A TANK. YOU KNOW THAT RIGHT?" I said "I know I am a tank" Kali then says "Rush in there and tank for us then" I explained as gentle as possible that i was too far behind and couldn't get my tank items yet, so i couldn't tank. Then everyone else pretty much says rush in, you're a tank protect us. Of course, no one on the team would AA anyone I Q'd, so no cc from me either. I suppose i couldn have farmed a lane, but not safely. At that point I was dying so much wards weren't being placed , and of course low elo players think its acceptable to walk around without wards. Even when you tell them to purchase them.
So no matter if you play well at low elo's, everyone is blaming someone for something and usually for things that they just don't understand because they haven't had the experience , or can't witness what is happening in front of them. But it seems people are so full of pride they can't ask questions, and that's because I think as a whole LoL community is probably one of the least friendliest communities as far as actual IN GAME PLAY is concerned. At low elo's though it truly is hell playing with other people a good 60% of the time at least , if not a little more. So if they don't ask you tell them directly what they should be doing, most the time it gets neglected, and there is more than enough blame circulating for years to come.
Like I said I'm no pro, I like to watch the pros so i can learn new things about champs or the game as a whole. There are probably a million things I don't know, but I do know that about 99% of the forums essentially say if you are losing you suck to put it bluntly. But it doesn't mean you suck, it means your whole team sucks. Forums also say to mute your team out, but then you can't communicate and most players ignore pings at that level so its just as bad. Everyone wants to communicate for the wrong reasons. If everyone's goal is to win. Why does everyone complain instead taking a proactive role so your teammates can correct that in the future. The game requires experience , if you can't learn from those experiences, there is no way to get better. You can read all the forums you want but they won't teach you how to play in every situation.
