Okay, so, I've just had my first truly negative experience with the "Afk and we give you a queue ban" feature from the new queue system.

I was talking to my team about a potential strategy for our team composition, and I decided to select Malphite. Even though I did, it kicked me anyway because I didn't lock him in. I've been playing this game since before S1 and I'm used to just letting it idle and lock itself in...

Except I got kicked and received a huge queueban and inconvenienced nine other players. If I didn't CLICK a champion AFTER pick intent phase, then it should have kicked me for sure. But if I did? Give me another 5 seconds or don't kick me, just lock me in.

This feature is incredibly flawed, punishing players who don't make any foul.

I was in the same boat. Made that mistake twice. But the new queue even warns you and tells you that you need to lock in! Did you read the warning or just exit? lol, I don't mean to be rude but it is your fault for not locking in.
