Why would I have received a mystery gift?

I just logged in after a 2 week ban with a mystery gift from Riot. Does this have to do with the 10 year anniversary? As far as I remember I did not own Riot Kayle. If I did not own Riot Kayle, would it have popped up saying "Congratulations, you received Riot Kayle"?

If you did not own Riot Kayle it would've quietly been added to your account with no fanfare.
