The Mute Button.

So... Obviously, League of legends would be 10x better if everybody respected the mute button the moment someone started turning toxic (because toxin gets around quickly), but how BIG of an effect does it actually have? I can shamefully admit that i've been toxic back to other players, and trust me, I wish I chould change that, and I'm really willing to try; I want to try abusing the Mute Button the moment someone gets toxic, even if they're just complaining about some small thing, it kinda gets to you. But at the same time, that means there's less team communication and the game might get lost anyways. What to do :I

The mute button should really only be used during excessive behavior. But it doesnt mean less communication. We have pings for a reason now and they basically use the same function as chat.

What is this? What is a "mute" button? All i know is how to go afk and intentionally feed when somebody is bing toxic. I don't know how to, what is it? "mute"? Strange thing.
