Some AFKS have an excuse.

Hi guys, I'm currently working in a 3rd party corporation for Time Warner Cable (I sell internet and shit for them). Time Warner had a HUGE outage that is still there today, and it's even spread to California, Indiana, Ohio, and north Carolina. Riot, if you have a way of seeing what city players live in, please give those players who "afkd" a second chance. We have no idea what caused this outage, and it's not the players fault.

If there is an outage then how are they even on the internet in the first place?

If they don't leave frequently, it should be fine. If they DO leave frequently, then oh well.

Credentials please or otherwise: -Hi guys, I work for the electric company and we lost 10 power lines in NYC. Give the people in my neighborhood a second chance. -Hi guys, I work for city planning in Colorado. We accidentally severed an underground power line. Give those people a second chance. -Hi guys, I work for Comcast and we lost coverage for all of California. Please give them a second chance.

See where this is going?

If you've AFKed/disconnected one game, you won't get any punishment at all. If you know there is an an going internet issue yet you keep choosing to risk signing on and playing, then the onus is on you.

You aren't punished for one game other than 5 mins of queue or something like that for your next game.
