MMR system punishes you

Hello, let me start with some background. About 3 months ago (maybe a bit more) I made a huge jump from silver 4 to gold 2 in a matter of weeks, I was carrying every game and no doubt playing better than I currently am. I got to promos for gold 1 twice and lost one of them because of an AFK teammate since the game started. Ever since then (maybe due to tilt) i went on a losing streak and started dropping ranks. I am now silver 3 in a matter of a month and i cannot help but feel injustice. Many many games (as im sure all of you face) have been riddled by AFKs, someone having a bad game and feeding (sometimes it can be myself), or just flat out toxic (and i mean TOXIC) people.

I am now in a postion where i gain about 12-15 LP for a win, and lose close to 26 for a loss (whether there is an afk or not). I feel like I was doing very good and was rising steadily through the ranks due to my good play. My good play still continues albeit somewhat more tilted.

I never bash my teammates, always try to focus on team play and stop the flaming of others, but somehow the team always crumbles down and bickers among them...

I feel like Riot is making me climb the Great Wall in order to advance a measly rank.... and its very discouraging.

I know many of your replies will be that I suck and should stop crying so much, but for those of you who have a similar case, please speak here if only to ease our tilt on the matter. RIOT PLEASE DONT PUNISH PEOPLE FOR SO MANY FACTORS OUTSIDE THEIR CONTROL. Im pretty sure im not at diamond level or maybe even platinum, but I climbed through gold with ease and now I am silver and on my way to bronze at this pace. Please someone tell me I am not alone in this.
