Low placement

Okay so I got bronze 1 with 3 wins in placements during season 6 and eventually ended in bronze 2. Now I've been practicing and did my placements for this preseason and felt pretty good about it. I got multiple S's on Ekko and won 6 out of 10 games. I felt like I was on fire that is until I placed bronze 4? I'm fairly new to league so I guess I don't know exactly what's going on but should I be at least silver??

You're always placed lower than your previous rank.

bronze is the only elo that you can be placed higher than you were the next season but it is very hard to do so and its usually only one bump up and you are duo with someone higher than you.

but why'd I get bronze 4 why not bronze 1 again? Idk I guess I'm just frustrated.
