or you could just decline friend requests from people you haven't played a game with

ya i dont really get why people make a big deal out of it. i mean this is only a problem if you add every single person who adds you which just doesnt make any sense to me. But i would say if its excessive you can always contact support.

LSI is League Summoner Info. It's legit, i know tons of people that use it. I use it, it's a great program. Don't use it if you don't want to, but nothing is wrong with it.
