Why do i have to lose lp just because someone else has no life and decides to smurf? So what little fun i do get from this game just gets shut down with 0 chance to win the game just because the other team has a smurf. I love losing all of the lp i just tried so hard to get just because this guy has no life and cant actually win his games so he makes a smurf and then just dumpsters low elo players just to make himself feel better.
Get good, and beat them
It's always funny how high level players will defend their smurfing, but when the shoe's on the other foot (aka: they're playing with a boosted player on their team) suddenly they don't like this whole not playing with/against players your own skill level thing.
I am a smurf. But I only did it in order to introduce a friend to the game. I wanted him to have a nice positive first impression of the game since the league community is notorious for its toxicity. I wanted there to be at least one person with a positive attitude on the team for him.
But I only play support when I smurfed and only Taric because it is the hardest role to carry from and because Taric was arguably the worst support at the time. I also named myself in such a way to make it blatantly obvious that I am the smurf which is like saying "please come camp my lane." In a normal game all I am able to accomplish is shut down the enemy bot lane from snowballing and use wards to tip off where the enemy jungles is. My noob teammates still have to carry themselves to victory.
My friend has since reached level 30 so I usually only log in here to play bot games since that is where I am most likely to meet new players and teach them the game. I like teaching new players.
So am I evil for smurfing?
