Gaming Jobs

I know there is mixed felling about this topic, but I turned 16 last November and have been looking for a job. I can't seem to find anything I enjoy doing because if I work I want to do something I enjoy doing every single day. So I was wondering if anyone knew any great jobs that involve gaming. It sounds like I wanna be lazy and play games all day, but in reality I really appreciate games and would love to become apart of a team of people to help make or test one. Cause when I play a game I love to appreciate the time put into it and the environment the dev's have created. Cause lets be honest I would hate to work at a McDonald's everyday and the obvious choice Gamestop, doesn't hire until 18 years of age because of the new stupid law that was passed. So this might be a weird place to ask, but does anyone know any jobs that involve working with games? Thanks for your time!

Content creation is really the only way and that's only if your content is high enough of a quality to attract a large audience or be purchased

For the short term, you can work as a grunt QA tester if you live in a city like Seattle or Chicago. Depending on why you want the job (money? resume? something to do?), you could also work as a baby sitter or a youth mentoring program where you could occasionally play games with younger kids.

But you could consider focusing on the long term too. If you don't need the money (like to help your parents pay the bills), you could devote your free time to improving at programming or animation or modeling or concept art. And that would set you up better for the long term. It might suck to work at McDonald's every day for two years. But it would suck a lot more if you end up working in sales or accounting for 40 years and think back to "if only I'd made my career in games..."
