I really hate that Lee Sin.

In this video, the Lee Sin at the end decided to Ward hop to safety instead of hoping to Jihn. Why do Lee Sin's do this? Jihn intentionally stood there so he could ward hop to him and Lee not only wasted a ward BUT denied Jihn a shield, which could of blocked any random skill shots flies towards the two.

It seems like every time I position to help save a Lee this way they always ward hop. Only twice has a Lee Sin not ward hopped when I went out of my way to save him. I remember both of those moments. One was 2 years ago when I first started playing League and a friend told me to do it to save Lee Sin's and the other was last September.

Out of the dozens of games with Lee Sin's I've played with they never leap to me to safety. Maybe I'm over reacting but I when this happens.

I've noticed the opposite? Most Lees I see prefer to jump to an ally if they can. But if it happens, they are probably just doing it out of habit. Like when an ADC flashes away even though there's a thresh lantern out. They are just getting tunnel vision and just trying to escape any way they can, and flash/ward hop usually gets them to safety, so they just do it without thinking.
