I can't find my friend who was just in my friends list?

I can't find my friend OneLittleSmile/Pronetolosefaith (he changed his name yesterday to onelittlesmile) I tried looking up his account but onelittlesmile doesn't exist If I go on op.gg I can still see him Did he get banned? He wouldn't remove me because we're too close of friends but this is kinda weird and worrying me
