MS/Ping Display on Home Page of Client?

I'll be the first to admit, I don't have the best of internet connections. Wireless DSL is temperamental at best and when I have to share that with family it can get a bit... tense.

Is there any way to add a feature to the client that displays what your MS/Ping would be BEFORE you join a game? I've lost track of the number of games I've been really excited to play and then I load in to 200-300 MS (which makes catching Draven axes really hard D: ). I'm also sure my teams are tired of me lagging out, which, as a responsible team player, I wouldn't subject them to if I knew before hand that my ping was through the roof.

because it is too hard to open up speedtest.net?

and why are you playing over wireless? a 100' cat6 cable is 10 bucks on amazon. and when you are hardwired into the router, you get priority. man, i have a nighthawk ac1900 and still hardwire in for stability.

Yeah but why should someone have to open up another window just to do something they could easily implement into a corner of the client?

We haven't wired it because dad doesn't feel like pulling wires through the walls and he doesn't trust me to do it :P

I can have a 30 ping on Speedtest and a 400 ping in game, they are not always going to be relevant to each other.

And some people have to play wireless just because of how their household is. I can't play wired because I can't sit there in the living room while I play and my friends/brother and his friends are watching a movie. I would get distracted and hassled by them the whole time and that is not a good thing. So I play wireless in my bedroom which happens to be all the way across the house
