MS/Ping Display on Home Page of Client?

I'll be the first to admit, I don't have the best of internet connections. Wireless DSL is temperamental at best and when I have to share that with family it can get a bit... tense.

Is there any way to add a feature to the client that displays what your MS/Ping would be BEFORE you join a game? I've lost track of the number of games I've been really excited to play and then I load in to 200-300 MS (which makes catching Draven axes really hard D: ). I'm also sure my teams are tired of me lagging out, which, as a responsible team player, I wouldn't subject them to if I knew before hand that my ping was through the roof.

because it is too hard to open up speedtest.net?

and why are you playing over wireless? a 100' cat6 cable is 10 bucks on amazon. and when you are hardwired into the router, you get priority. man, i have a nighthawk ac1900 and still hardwire in for stability.
