The League Community... *Sigh*

League of Legends is an amazing game. The gameplay is unique from DotA and DotA 2, but also similar in a way that it makes it easy to transition between both games. The art style of League is, in my opinion, top notch and amazingly visual eye candy, and has fantastic music all around. But, all games do have their downside, and League's downside is a major problem.

The community in League is for sure an amazing community with all the fan art, support and groups created from it, but holy mother of Christ, it for sure has one of the most, excuse my french, shittiest community in my gaming experience. There's not a single match that I play without someone, or a whole team, calling another person a "fa - - ot" or "ni - - er" or any other inexcusable language. Sure, noob is tossed around here and there, but is that even an insult anymore? League's community standards of insults went from "noob" "you suck" "terrible team" to things I cannot even repeat, and don't want to repeat. There are gamers out there, that feed off just trying to piss you off and make you feel like utter crap for a whole gameplay. And that's not even the worst part of it all. What's even more terrible is how other players who are just watching by, take no stance to support a victim subject to this abuse. I know that a lot of you just don't want to get involved, but please, just help for once. It'll make that poor soul's day.

The community has gotten better in the last few years though, but not by much. There's still so much homophobia, racism, and. Normal, Draft, and Ranked matches are MUCH nicer. But where did all that negative energy go? Straight to custom matches. Custom matches are just traps of asshat-infested cesspools ( ). Just entering a public custom match gives you a nauseating feeling. But, why has all this energy gone here? Because no one REALLY cares for custom matches. A lot of people consider custom matches just something they can brush off. I tell you what, go play a couple matches of Hide and Seek, see how much you can brush off then. You would not survive it, if you didn't have thick skin. The reason people get away with being an asshat in custom matches is because those who do not play custom matches think it's pointless to even report in it. And truth be told, it should be pointless, but it's not. I don't know if Riot or Riot Employees care about custom matches, but if they don't, they need to start focusing on them, because it's getting out of hand.

I'm a human right's activist. I know how it feels to be treated like shit, and to be run over (), on a daily basis. I get called "stuck up" a "b - - ch" and other vulgar things all the time, and I get told my opinions are wrong. This is the reason why I'm an activist. I want to see a change in how an online community views people who stand up for others, a community that WILL stand up for others. I want to see all of to stop slouching back and taking the hits, in fact, I want to see the victims start to step up their game and say "Hey, that's not nice. I think you're a complete c - - t () , and should stop acting like a c - - t () ." This is what this community needs, not bystanders or a strict report bot. It needs human decency and common sense. But there seems to be lack of that on online games...
