Guardians (OFFICIAL NEW GAME MODE!)
This game mode is similar to the "Protect the President", with a new set of rules, and combined aspects of other notable game modes like "Hide & Seek", "Catch the Teemo" and "Draft Racing" and is easy to learn. This game mode is WIP and is experimental.
Be warned that this is a complex game mode if you've never played any custom game modes before.
THIS IS A FULLY FLEXIBLE GAME MODE AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY THE CREATOR AT ANYTIME. THE HOST OF THE GAME IS ABLE TO CHANGE THE RULES AS THEY PLEASE. DO NOT COMPLAIN IF IT DOESN'T FOLLOW THE OFFICIAL RULES. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, GET OUT AND HOST YOUR OWN. BUT PLEASE READ THE RULES... THOROUGHLY.
RULES
Each team has to kill the enemy team's Guardian under the time limit as much as possible. The team to kill the enemy Guardian a selected number of times first, or with the most points at the end of the time limit, wins.
When the game starts, both teams must call out their roles in /all chat.
You may not leave the base until 3:00 minutes.

ROLES
- Guardian (REQUIRED): This is the player that each team must protect while the enemy team tries to kill him. He cannot be a tank (unless if host allows it) and cannot attack the enemy team. However, the Guardian may use CC spells and Heals/Shields. There cannot be anymore than one Guardian on each team. This is a required role. CANNOT USE ANYONE WHO HAS A GLOBAL ULTIMATE TO ESCAPE.
Can only use the Flash, Ghost, Shield, Clarity and Cleanse Summoner Spells.
- Guard (RECOMMENDED): This player protects the Guardian from the enemy team and must stay with the Guardian at all times. Can use any spell. They can choose to be any champion. Guards cannot attack the enemy Guardian, but CAN attack the rest of the enemy team with any spell.
Can only use the Flash, Ghost, and Exhaust Summoner Spells.
- Attacker (RECOMMENDED): This player is designed to hunt and kill the enemy Guardian and team. They may attack the entire enemy team with any spell, but should focus the enemy Guardian.
Can only use Flash and Ghost Summoner Spells.
- Healer/Support (OPTIONAL): This player heals/supports the ally team. They do not have to stay with the Guardian and can roam as they please. The Healer may not attack the enemy Guardian. They are allowed to attack the Attackers and Assassins, but can only use heal/CC spells on anyone else.
Can only use the Flash, Ghost and Heal Summoner Spells.
- Scout (OPTIONAL): This player is designed to scout out the enemy Guardian. Can only attack the Guards, Scouts, Healers/Supports. Can use only CC and traps on the Guardian and Attackers and Assassins. (Traps are allowed to kill the Guardian).
Can only use Flash, Ghost, and Clairvoyance Summoner Spells.
- Assassin (OPTIONAL): This player is specifically designed to kill the enemy Guardian. They may ONLY attack the enemy Guardians. Can only CC anyone else.
Can only use Flash, Ghost, Ignite and Exhaust Summoner Spells.
ROLES DO NOT HAVE TO BE FOLLOWED BY A SPECIFIC CHAMPION! Example: Healers/Supports do not have to be a healing/support type champion. Can be any champion, as long as they follow their role.
POINTS
When a Guardian dies on either team, the opposing team gains a point, both teams must stop and recall. 30 seconds after the Guardian revives, each team must leave the base. You cannot leave the base before the 30 seconds is up.
- Leaving the base before the starting time = +1 point to enemy team.
- Staying in the base after the starting time = +1 point to enemy team.
- Entering the base during gameplay = +1 point to enemy team.
- Breaking any of the role's rules = +1 point to enemy team.
- If a Guardian purposely enters the enemy fountain and dies = +1 point to enemy team.
- Buying illegal items or wrong items = +1 point to enemy team.
- Recalling during gameplay = +1 point to enemy team.
- Capturing turrets = +1 point to enemy team.
ITEMS
At the beginning of the game, players may ONLY buy boots (including upgraded and enhanced, if the player wishes), potions, and elixirs.
After a Guardian dies and everyone recalls, you may buy any item except illegal and non-specific role items.
If a player dies during gameplay, that player is allowed to buy items and return to the fight.
Illegal Items
- Everyone: Sunfire Cape, Thornmail, Bloodmail, Guardian Angel.
Role Specific Items

Guardian: Can use any item other than pure Damage/Ability Power items (i.e., BotRK, Wooglets Witchcap, Void Staff, Last Whisper, Trinity Force). May use tank items, if host allows it (define your own definition of "tank").

Guard: Can use any items except vision items.

Attacker: Can use any items except vision items.

Healer/Support: No pure Damage items. Can use Ability Power items. Cannot build tank. No vision items.

Scout: Can use any item including vision items, but cannot build tank.

Assassin: Can use any item except vision items and tank items.
BANNED CHAMPIONS

PERMANENTLY BANNED: Zilean, Yorick, Ekko, Poppy, Shaco, Eve, Teemo, Rengar, Alistar.

SUGGESTED CHAMPION SELECT BANS: Riven, Shen, Twisted Fate, Pantheon, Tahm Kench, Janna, Hecarim, Le Blanc, Wukong, Kha'Zix, Lee Sin, Warwick, Master Yi.
