AD vs AP kassadin
a champion defined by his ultimate being a spammable flash and awesome assassination capability. Is generally considered to be an AP champion because of his abilities scaling on AP (Duh?). But if you take a look he has one of the highest base AD's in the game at level 18, on top of an auto attack reset and kind of spammable spells....TRINITY FORCE.
Yes I want to play Kassadin as a highly mobile Trinity Force AD-assassin >:D Would start with Flask + pots of course because he needs to get level 6 asap and not get bullied out of lane. First back would go for a tear and if I have enough an amplifying tome (throw them off a little if they think I am building AP and they get MR in the top lane hehe) into Sheen While stacking tear would begin building the Trinity force, and finish up manamune as soon as trinity is complete. Boots would go for Lucidity if I need armor would get a frozen heart, if armor isn't really needed will go for a yomuu's MR item is definitely a hexdrinker > Malmortus OR if they have heavy CC would go for a merc scimitar
would be my general end game build, and of course running general AD caster runes/Masteries except probably running flat AP glyphs to help in the early game.
Thoughts on this? Would you consider it viable? Would it fail miserably and make people hate my guts? Let me know in the comments below P:
both in the lower elo and in diamond/master games that I occasionally watch, point being that he's mana heavy (especially at 4 stacks on his ult teleport, which while it deals a ton of damage when landed, it also takes a whopping 1200 mana to cast once) and I genuinely think taking him away from the AP/health route severely takes down his survivability and viability in general as he has no escape after teleporting in
