Riot's server is acting up

I'm trying to get into a game and it won't let me. It keeps saying that I'm not connected. I checked my network and it's fine. Why are you punishing me for your fault Riot? It's a violation of my rights when your server is preventing me from playing the game. I know my network and the internet isn't acting up.
