Install the drivers on a USB from your current laptop (at least that's what I recommend). You need drivers for your motherboard and your graphics card, there are multiple drivers for your motherboard you need to install. I personally love to overclock my PC but that's up to you too.

ALSO! Windows 10 is confirmed to come out on June 29, I would highly recommend getting it (it has the start menu just like Windows 7, but comes with useful things like DirectX 12)
