Is duo queue harder?
Me and my friend play a lot of games together and thinking about doing duos. Is duo queue harder? We are on the same skill level and have win/loss ratio.

If this is your first time in ranked with your partner, be prepared for the worst; as in terms of toxicity and an atmosphere your not use to.
Try to practice in normal drafts; afterwards if your ready you should be fine.
You actually are put at a disadvantage matchmaking wise, but it is usually worth it having someone on your team you work with effectively. Basically, Riot pairs you against slightl higher mmr if your in a duo because your expected to work together better than you do with random strangers.
I would suggest never duo queueing. Every time I've duo queued the matchmaking tries to adjust by placing my team against people who are 2-3 ranks higher than everyone on our team. Every one has been a joke game where everyone on the enemy team is completely owning everyone on our team. They seriously need to fix this adjustment for duo queue.
