If you're actually good you will go up divisions naturally right?

You will but don't expect it to be easy. You will lose some due to afks/trolls or bad plays but you will eventually climb. I had to do my plat promos 7 times. I think I did 12 or 13 Gold promos as well before I got out.

Yes.

The important thing to remember though is that climbing or falling is going to be based on average performances over many games. How much better you are than your current rank is going to determine how fast you climb. Luck can be a significant factor in the short term, with afks and such though.

The best way to climb is to learn how to get an advantage in your lane and learn how to affect the rest of the map with it. For example, if youre mid and you won your lane pretty hard roam to the side lanes and snowball your lead. You could be a good player but if you just sit in lane and farm for 20 mins youre risking that your other lanes will win on their own. On a side note, being good at league of legends is actually a weird thing. Do you consider good a gold player? or diamond? or challenger? As you climb elo you will keep learning how the game works and what you have to do in each role.

Honestly yes, but at the lower levels its also dependent on your team...that being said, the higher ELO's punish any minor mistake so dont be in a rush. Take your time and learn, however i would say to spend as little time as possible in bronze...I played a High ELO game and the other team apologized for one of our team for feeding....that was suprising

There isn't a straight answer.

Realistically it depends on how good you are, coupled with a small amount of luck, and how much time you dedicate to it.

It's a numbers game. You basically have to push through the troll teams to keep getting wins from normal players. Always ban Vayne and Yi that also helps.

Definitely. As long as you consistently practice mechanics, map awareness, WARD often, specific role responsibilities. Oh, and learning to MUTE everyone, and I do mean everyone. Once the game starts and focus on yourself and the team instead of getting caught up in the rage/toxicity if/when it happens. Just make sure to stay up on your 'pings' and pay attention so you can at least try to be on the same page as your team.

Another important thing I've learned, make sure you can fill EVERY ROLE. You don't have to main it, obviously, but get competent enough to be able to handle yourself in Solo Q. It helps sooooo much when people are more at ease in Champ Select when you write, "Fill" so it doesn't immediately turn into an argument over a role someone wanted. I see that way too often ruining games.

With everything everyone above has written to you, I'm sure you'll climb, but the whole thing is, KEEP ON PLAYING, you can't give up because there are gonna be up and down times when you decide to play Solo Q. Yeah you may drop a lot of LP at one day, then gain a bunch another, and so on and so forth. You just gonna take a short break in between matches if necessary to cool your head if ya had a bad game. Then get back to it. - If you're serious about wanting to climb the ladder, you will do it. Just learn from your mistakes and do your homework. Watch Pro streams, YouTube/Google are always around to help, and of course practice practice.

![Draven](https://ddragon.leagueoflegends.com/cdn/16.14.1/img/champion/Draven.png) Best of luck to ya!~

Yes and no. Luck is still a pretty big factor since 9 other people influence the game.

theoretically yes, but going 5-1 is nothing when every other lane is 7-0 and your jungler doesn't know what dragon is.

sure if you get lucky enough to avoid your team feeding/trolling/afking/ect
