Disappointing shop skins.

I understand that it is not easy to predict what skins a player would be interested in, but I really despise my shop rotation this time around. Reasoning:

Graves: Already have all graves skins aside from cutthroat and riot, rarely play him since he became abused by meta slaves. Galio: Already have Enchanted, which is basically the exact same skin (effects are the same). Rarely ever played him to begin with. Gragas: Already have Oktoberfest and Vandal. Can admit that I play him often, this is the least disappointing of them all. Draven: Already have Pool Party, rarely ever play him. Lucian: Already have Project and Heartseeker, both newer and better quality skins. Play him some, not as much as other adcs. Sion: Already have Barbarian. 520 RP skin has the highest discount (least value possible gained), rarely ever play him.

In previous shop rotations I got quality skins for champs that I played enough to warrant getting skins for, and didn't already have multiple other ones, like Slayer Jinx and Snow Day Gnar. This time around, I just am disappointed.

I can understand if you think "Wow this guy is complaining about discounts, how selfish can he be?", but I just want to know if anyone else feels the same.

I actually like that gragas and lucian skin.

Sion skin back in the day was ok (umm i mean the reworked version) but when his legendary mecha zero skin came out I pretty much never use the lumberjack skin anymore :(.

Dude, they are offering you skins for champs that you have similar skins for... How do you expect them to match this up?

Let me guess, you wanted to fill out a Christmas wish list of skins that you want for a discount?

Maybe the system saw you have a bunch of Grabes skin and thought, hey this guy might like to complete his collection. Or hey, this Galio skin is somewhat similar to this other skin he uses, lets discount that.

Instead, you want to complain about a feature that you don't have to use. SMH.

I understand you and feel with you im always excited when my shop is announced and it was pretty clear it was going to return again in the new client so i played specific champs who i really wanted to get some nice skins for and that for months. But i only got skins for champs i dont really play or already got several skins for like ahri ezreal and annie. Im not crying if you may think that i just want to say i think it would have been better if you got skins for champs you played a lot in the recent time as it was done the last time

I barely touched Sivir at all this season. 4 games in like December, and I already have 2-3 skins for her. I played a lot of Malphite, but already own Mecha. I played Vlad once like a month ago in a normal game. That's my only game on Vlad in the history of this account. I rarely play Irelia. I played a lot of Renekton recently, and don't own any skins for him. I rarely play Maokai. I have like 7 games on him at the beginning of the season, and already have the Victorious skin.

Ashe is my current featured profile champion, and I have no skins for her. I spammed the shit out of Darius and he's my only Mastery 7, and I have no skins for him. I played a lot of Ezreal this season, and I have no skins for him.

I got a lot of good skins that I really want but no RP to buy them. Actually makes me really sad.

I got: Dragonslayer Vayne(which is decent but I already have arclight) PickPocket Twitch (also decent but I have SSW) Bloodmoon Jhin(Only 540 RP too) Cosmic Reaver Kass(Because Kass is busted as fuck) Mecha Kog'Maw (good skin even if it's not as good as Pug'Maw) and finally Earnest Elf Trist (which is only 260 RP and yet still legendary)

I'm an ADC main and I play a lot of Kass too.

I feel you brother.

I got some unsatisfactory ones as well.

  • Blood Moon Talon = Not a bad skin at all. Argueably the best one he's got. I haven't played Talon since the assassin rework though. I'm among those few relics who preffered him as an AoE bomb. In addition, I already have the Dragonblade and Crimson Elite skins.
  • Nosferatu Vladirmir = Currently my favorite champion. Already have Blood Lord and Soul Stealer though, so I don't really have any desire for this skin.
  • Nightblade Irelia = I play her occassionally, but I already have 2 skins for Irelia, which I'd pick any day, over Nightblade.
  • Sir Kled = I bloody love playing Kled, I just think this skin is terrible. I really want a skin for my lizard riding battlemaniac, but I'd much rather wait for a decent skin to be released. The only redeeming quality about this skin is that Skaarl looks like a chocobo from Final Fantasy.
  • Dark Star Varus = Now this skin is absoloutely great, and the only one I would consider buying. I don't play ADC all the much anymore though, and I already have 2 skins for Varus, so I'm still in the consideration process on wether or not I'm gonna buy it.
  • TPA Orianna = I enjoy playing Orianna a lot. Although I have no desire to purchase I skin I don't find visually appealing, and I have no desire to purchase a skin for a team I don't support.

But what do you guys think? Is it worth getting Dark Star Varus with a 70% discount in my context?
