#Am I reading this right? Did top lane champions once to go bot with a support, while the ADC/APC's get a solo lane?
I had to double-take on this.
There was just a time where there was no meta. You played whatever you wanted where you wanted. Often things like Ryze jungle and other crazy stuff that nower days is considered trolling. Also sometimes there just overall was no jungler, just top 2v2, mid 1v1 and bot 2v2. Now for almost everyone there must be a top and midlaner, a support, a marksmen/adc and a jungler.

Yes , ashe used to be mid laner, there werent supports, only roamers. Current playstyle is just meta introduced by european pro players.
