Game timers are wrong in my friends list

So this is really weird but it happens with both my computer on my account and not my brothers and I don't know why this would even be an option if it is. When I mouse over a name on my friends list and there are in game it says in game for 180+ minutes. I figured out that minute 180 is minute 1 and 210 is 30. Right now it says one of my friends is in game for 218:36. This wasn't always like this and just randomly started happening and I don't know why. On my desktop and my laptop it does the same thing. Anyone know a fix?
