I'm not sure if I had fun today.

Today felt kinda meh playing league.... and I don't mean the shitty teammates kinda meh, it just felt weird and un-fun today. After trying my luck in ranked as a support thresh and doing mediocre and getting stuck in bronze 1, I decided to play some teambuilder lately and going back to the first champ I really tried to get good at: Varus.

I've been having some decently interesting times for the past week or so trying to do my ap varus thing because I believe ap varus can be a tactical marksman because of the utility his ult brings, plus the fact that his abilities can scale off of AP, and I REALLY like the fact that he can nuke tanks for % hp damage (No vayne, go away, this isn't your thread.)

I went into a custom game and there was an ashe there, lvl 25, and they started the game and I went ap varus rushing seeker's armguard into zhonyas first, and they rushed pickaxe into manamune first. I kept farming under tower and waiting for ult to come off cooldown to engage and eventually won. Needless to say they weren't all that great but they tried, and I think that's something that matters in the game, just try. They did surrender though at some point after their second turret and before their inhib was down in howling abyss.... and they friended me after the game and they left.

Now here's the thing, for some reason after that game I don't think I felt like I was having fun when I went back into SR.... things felt...... moot? Is that the right word? IDK. Maybe I just kinda feel lame because I beat a lvl 25 guy who wasn't that experienced yet with a varus build that people consider crap and then people in SR telling me I'm bad or asking me wtf I'm building ap for? Honestly I don't know, I think he might have a harder early game but scales annoyingly bursty late game, but people say I suck even when I still have positive KD. I bet if someone played AP varus in the lcs people would be like "oh shit ap varus! fuck yeah." and the more-than-likely. "AP varus trying to copy lcs/pros"

I like AP varus, heck I like Varus as a champ overall, he looks cool, he has a mission, and he's not going to let anyone stop him until he gets a clear shot at some noxian officers and shove a piercing arrow up their posteriors. (pun somewhat intended? hmm)

I think Meddler was the rioter behind his design? thanks meddler, varus is cool. And thanks for whoever got the idea of making his W make his auto atks scale from AP and making blight do scaling % hp magic damage. Nuclear launch detected :)

but yeah league felt lame today, and no It's not because of kindred, I kinda like the kindred theme. Heck, look at my summoner name and my icon... my body was born ready for kindred. In fact I think varus and kindred would get along quite well.

Why am I making this discussion/thread? IDK either, maybe I'm just that bored. Sorry about the weird spacing/layout/are-those-sentences-or-paragraphs.
