An Idea for Victorious Skins
Hello there!
I just had a thought I would love to share to the league community... and hopefully any Riot employees. Last year I was stuck in bronze V for a very long time. When season 5 rewards came around and I saw the Victorious Sivir skin, I tried my hardest day and night to make it to Gold before the season ended. Unfortunately I did not make it... but since then my skill has increased dramatically and I managed to climb from Bronze V to Gold V in a very short amount of time.
That being said, the new season rewards are right around the corner and I am soo EXCITED! I've been thinking about what this year's victorious skin will be and well... I am hoping it is as satisfying as the victorious Sivir skin I missed out on. Out of all the victorious skins I've seen, that one was my favorite.
And so I had an IDEA! What if starting this year, and I highly encourage anyone reading this to contemplate over this suggestion, people who are eligible to receive the new Victorious skins could also have the option of selecting the previous year's Victorious skin instead of the current one.
For example: It is 2016 and Victorious Rek'Sai or something like that comes out. I could then have the option of accepting that or instead selecting Victorious Sivir from 2015. Then in 2017 another Victorious skin comes out and you could have the option of accepting that one or 2016's Victorious Rek'Sai skin. (You're only allowed the option of selecting one from the previous year, no farther back than 1 year.)
I know that Victorious skins are supposed to be symbolic of the hard work people put in to make it to Gold and above for that certain year, but sometimes people like me who put in the same hard work and go above and beyond to try and accomplish getting those same rewards are unsuccessful....and we are not offered another opportunity to get what we desire. Please take my idea into consideration, it would mean the world to me if people actually responded to this. Besides, everyone deserves a second chance right?
