5 win xp boost?

I just logged in today and had a 5 win xp boost, im level 30 so this doesnt help me. Where did this come from? I didnt get anything that said someone bought it for me, and I cant even buy xp boosts in the store.

EDIT: xp boost* not ip boost

U sent penguins to your buddies! Each penguin sent gives u 1 boost.
